In february of 2020 a mindfulness group will start in Mathildedal. The purpose is to learn and practice mindfulness together. It is suitable for anyone who is ready to observe their own thoughts and feelings and wants to let go of judgements and repetitive thoughts. It doesn’t matter if you are a total beginner or if you already have some experience with it.
Every gathering will have a theme or an aspest of mindfulness which we dive into. There will be exercises we will do together. There will be sharing of experiences and you can ask questions.
If you feel you need some personal advice about your mindfulness meditation practice, then an individual one on one meeting is a good option. Maybe you feel there is a particular obstacle that you wish to discus in private with me, because you feel it is too sensitive to share it with other people around. An individual meeting is then a safe and confidential alternative.
We might do the RAIN practice together; an easy and insightful form of guided meditation. The acronym RAIN stands for: Recognize (what is bothering you), Allow (the experience to be there), Investigate (with some gentle questions) and Nuture (with self-compassion). It will lead you into an attentive presence, where there is no need for judgements anymore. Your heart can rest.
DURATION OF THE MEETING
An one on one meeting can take 1 to 1,5 hour. It can take place at Anankatu in Helsinki or at Tullintie in Mathildedal. We can also have a meeting through Skype or Zoom.
The language can be English or Dutch
