A beautiful pause during your day

Step in
A sound healing session fits naturally into your visit or holiday in Mathildedal. Some people come out of curiosity and leave feeling happy, relaxed, and grateful, with a clear sense that something has shifted. Healing sound is not heavy or intense. It is more like feeling yourself again, noticing how your inner state changes when you deeply relax. The sound supports you gently. Some say it feels like being in your favourite place; calm, familiar, and safe. How sounds work Sound works directly with the nervous system. Vibration, rhythm, and frequency influence how the body regulates itself. Neuroscience research shows that steady, slow, and harmonious sounds can support the parasympathetic nervous system — the part of the nervous system responsible for rest, recovery, and balance. When this system in you is supported then several things can happen naturally: the breathing slows and deepens, the muscle tension reduces, the mind becomes quieter, the body shifts into a state of repair and regeneration. This effect does not depend on belief or effort. The nervous system reacts automatically to sound, much like it reacts to nature, water, or gentle movement. That is why sound healing often feels both deeply relaxing and refreshing at the same time. During holidays, the nervous system is already more open to this kind of regulation. Sound healing simply supports that process. The place Sessions take place in my cosy home studio in Mathildedal. The space is calm, warm, and welcoming — a place where it feels easy to lie down, relax, and receive sound without distraction. Many visitors say they feel at ease as soon as they arrive. How I work My way of working is based on full presence and focus. I listen carefully to what is happening in the moment: to you, to the surrounding, and to the sound itself. The session develops naturally from there. I do not follow a fixed program or perform a concert. Each sound is chosen deliberately, with attention to timing, intensity, resonance, and silence. This allows the sound to support balance rather than overwhelm. Sound, music, and frequency have been part of my life for a long time. That long experience allows me to work calmly, precisely, and with full attention. Every session is slightly different, shaped by what is needed in that moment.
